Commission of Taplow Court, Buckinghamshire, England. Typed on this old funky orange 70’s Silver Reed 200, metal case, the perfect portable typewriter! What a find this typewriter was when trawling Facebook Marketplace back in January. I’m running low on ink ribbons and I’m going to need to order some online very soon before they all dry out! More “typicitons” to follow in the next couple of days...keep your eyes peeled ‍ #typewriterart #typewriterartist #ascii #asciiartist #architecture #victorian #typer #typed #art #artistsoninstagram #artist #art_feature #art_empire #typewritercollection #arch_more #typewriters

Commission of Friedrich Nietzsche, German philosopher. Typed on a 1960’s turquoise Smith Corona that was kindly gifted to me by a very kind person back in January. This “typiction” took about 8 hours to produce. Phew! I’ve been super busy this month with drawings and will be posting many more pieces of work very soon! Keep your eyes peeled for a very special commission that I will begin in June! Thaxted Parish Church was completed in 1850 and it’s spire has twice been destroyed by lightning. It was accidentally rebuilt 2 feet short of its original height of 183 feet. The church has been typed on the Silver Reed 200 typewriter which is the most compact and easiest to transport around with me on my journeys. [NEWS] - - - - - - In September, I will be hosting an exhibition of my typewriter artwork at Thaxted Guildhall. Entry is free.
