Brilio.net/en - Who says Indonesia doesnt have any renowned comic strips? An Indonesian comic writer, Is Yuniarto, managed to create a comic which is not only preferred by Indonesians, but it also successfully melt the hearts of manga fans after being released in Japan some time ago. Wow!
As quoted by brilio.net from his Facebook page, Monday (11/8), Is Yuniarto admitted that he has officially cooperated to release the comic which is now on its fifth saga with one of the most famous online comic publishers in Japan, Digital Catapult. FYI, Garudayana will also be adapted into a Japanese version so that all manga fans in Japan can read it.
Garudayana is an Indonesian comic that tells the story of contemporary wayang with a girl named Kinara as the central figure. Kinara is a treasure seeker who spends her life with a Garuda in a mission to save the world.
Not only will it just be republished, but they will make the Japanese version online with new stories which will still be wrapped in Indonesian wayang story. Awesome, isnt it?
